Projections: Expect ‘Rango’ To Top Charts
18 Jul, 2011 By: John Latchem
Paramount Home Entertainment’s Rango ($123.3 million domestic box office) should be able to top the sales chart for the week ending July 17, despite having fewer days on shelves due to its July 15 release date.
Warner Home Video’s release of the Arthur remake also came July 15, but its $33 million box office indicates it probably won’t have the same interest level as Rango.
Lionsgate’s The Lincoln Lawyer should land at No. 1 on the rental chart. Warner’s Hall Pass also should finish high on the rental chart after coming off its 28-day embargo.
