Universal's family drama A Dog's Purpose will look to emerge from a slow week of new releases to claim a top spot on the home video sales charts the week ending May 7. The film earned $64.3 million at the domestic box office.
Other new releases include Paramount's horror sequel Rings and Lionsgate's Gold.
They will enter the fray against strong holdovers such as Sony Pictures' Underworld: Blood Wars and Lionsgate's La La Land, not to mention Disney's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
On the weekly rental chart, Fox's Why Him? is in line to take the No. 1 spot for a second week, with newcomer Gold making a solid debut as well.
