Warner's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will seek another turn at the top of the disc sales charts the week ended July 31, if it can surpass some strong newcomers in the form of Universal's The Boss and Warner's Barbershop: The Next Cut.
The Boss, with Melissa McCarthy, earned $63.08 million in U.S. theaters and received the most retail space of the week's new releases.
Barbershop: The Next Cut, the third "Barbershop" film and the first one in 12 years, Earned $54.03 million domestically.
On the rental chart, Lionsgate's Criminal is likely to take the top spot, since most of the new releases are from studios that delay new titles from rental outlets for a month.
