Disney's 'Rogue One' Top-Selling U.K. Disc Through September

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was the top-selling combined DVD/Blu-ray Disc title in the United Kingdom through September with more than 1 million units sold, according to .

The U.K. is the third-largest home entertainment market after the United States and Japan, according to IHS Markit.

The standalone "Star Wars" title, which was released in April, has sold 131,000 more units than runner-up Beauty and the Beast (Disney) with 919,000 units. Just behind was Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them with 917,000 units.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Bridget Jones's Baby was the best-selling disc in Q1, and now sits in fourth with 809,000 units sold.

Animated title Moana was fifth with 713,000 units, underscoring Disney’s chart prowess. Indeed, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (479,000) and Marvel’s Doctor Strange rank eighth and ninth, respectively.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s Trolls (6), Universal’s Sing (7) and BAFTA nominated The Girl on the Train round out the top 10.
