Sony Releasing 'Da Vinci Code' in 4K Blu-ray

In advance of the Oct. 28 theatrical release of the latest Robert Langdon adventure, Inferno, Sony Pictures is re-releasing The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Oct. 11.
The films, based on books by Dan Brown, were directed by Ron Howard and star Tom Hanks as Langdon, who reads ancient symbols to solve international mysteries.
The Da Vinci Code (2006) and Angels & Demons (2009), which are also being re-released on Blu-ray, will include new interviews with Hanks, Howard, Brown and producer Brian Grazer, and contain a sneak peek at Inferno. Other extras behind-the-scenes featurettes and deleted scenes.
The UHD Blu-ray will feature the films in 4K resolution with high dynamic range, a Dolby Atmos soundtrack compatible with Dolby TrueHD 7.1, and a Blu-ray version of the film.
