'Jackass 3.5' Premieres April 1 on Joost

Paramount Digital Entertainment couldn’t have picked a better date to debut Jackass 3.5: April Fool’s Day.

The 85-minute feature will be available exclusively at Joost.com via weekly installments; the entire feature available eventually will be there. Paramount will follow Joost’s release with VOD, DVD, TV and download-to-own releases.

“With a worldwide fan base, it’s clear that ‘Jackass’ has created its own category of entertainment that needs no translation,” stated Thomas Lesinski, president of Paramount Digital Entertainment. “With Joost on board to distribute Jackass 3.5 through its global online network, millions of ‘Jackass’ fans around the world are sure to enjoy the latest installment of this popular franchise.”

In 2007 Paramount released Jackass 2.5 exclusively online, a studio first. Jackass 3.5 features content shot during the filming of Jackass 3D.
