To coincide with the 25th anniversary of the animated Beauty and the Beast movie, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will make all 11 “Disney Princess” films available on home video at the same time from Sept. 6 to Oct. 17.
Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Tangled, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, The Princess and the Frog, Brave, Pocahontas and Mulan will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD and through Disney Movies Anywhere.
In addition, Beauty and the Beast will be re-released Sept. 20 as part of the Walt Disney Signature Collection Blu-ray imprint. The new edition includes four versions of the film, including a new sing-along version. New extras include a featurette in which Disney composers gather around a piano to share how they were influenced by the film’s music; a look at how Walt Disney himself sought to adapt this famous fairytale; a nostalgic look back with Paige O’Hara, the voice of Belle; behind-the-scenes access into the recording booth with the cast; and a sneak peek at Disney’s upcoming live-action re-telling of Beauty and the Beast, arriving in theaters in 2017.
