Biggest opportunity: The market demand for high-quality programming for kids and families presents a unique opportunity for our globally recognized brand, characters and diverse slate of content.
Biggest challenge: I enjoy challenges where there is no pre-defined path to follow. Those are the best as they often lead to new, sustainable business.
Home entertainment use (device and services): Everything that today’s kids and their families are using … and whatever makes my nieces happy.
What was the best piece of advice you ever got and offer others? Just have fun with it.

The studio also continues to expand its cloud-based digital movie service, Disney Movies Anywhere, which was launched under Marinelli’s oversight last year, and added participating retailers Google Play and Vudu to launch partner iTunes. Other recent achievements for Marinelli’s team include Frozen becoming the top-selling digital and Blu-ray title of all time in the United States and Big Hero 6 as the highest performing digital release to date this year.
Biggest challenge/Biggest opportunity: As distribution models evolve, and technology and consumer behavior changes, our primary goal is simple: We must always stay one step ahead.
