15 Oct, 2014 By: Angelique Flores

RLJ Entertainment Inc. has hired Matt Graham as VP of Acorn TV.

He will oversee the British TV streaming service beginning Oct. 20, when he takes over for Jen Linck, who is moving to RLJE’s west coast office in the newly created position of VP of marketing strategy.

Graham comes to RLJE from PBS Digital, where he was co-founder and senior director of PBS Digital Studios, the Web-original programming division of PBS. He also held key leadership roles in content management at PBS Video and was a co-founder of UMLAUT Films, a film editorial facility in Northern California. Under Graham's leadership, PBS Digital Studios won six Webby Awards as well as Mashies for Best YouTube Brand Channel and Best Video Series.

Graham will continue to grow the Acorn TV, which has already quadrupled subscribers in the past year. He will be based in RLJE’s Silver Spring, Md., office and report to Mark Stevens.
