RLJ Entertainment May 18 named Nazir Rostom CFO, replacing Mark Nunis, who continues as chief accounting officer. Rostom, 40, most recently served in senior executive positions with GetWellNetwork, described as a healthcare solutions provider.
Nunis had replaced former CFO Drew Wilson, who left the company last November. Wilson became CFO in 2013 following the departure of John Avagliano.
RLJ Entertainment, which was created in 2012 following the merger of Image Entertainment and Acorn Media Group, will pay Rostom an annual base salary of $275,000, plus stock options and performance bonus that could reach 25% of his base salary, according to a regulatory filing.
The Silver Springs, MD-based home entertainment distributor reported a loss of $13.4 million on revenue of $22.8 million during its most-recent fiscal period.
