Pears Joins RLJ Entertainment

RLJ Entertainment has added Mike Pears as its new EVP of content sales, putting him in charge of sales for RLJE’s non-physical wholesale business, including digital, VOD and TV.
Pears brings nearly 20 years experience in the media industry to RLJ Entertainment, including 15 in digital media. Most recently he oversaw digital and VOD distribution as VP of digital sales at Cinedigm Entertainment, helping to grow Cinedigm into one of the world’s largest indie distributors and the world’s largest aggregator of digital film and TV content. Previously he held executive positions at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), SoundExchange, Ernst & Young, and was co-founder of MusiKube.
