2 May, 2016 By: Thomas K. Arnold

Longtime Lionsgate Home Entertainment marketing chief Anne Parducci said she is leaving the company to focus on producing children's animation projects, including several projects for Lionsgate.

Parducci joined Lionsgate in 2004, and, as EVP of marketing, led brand management, digital marketing, publicity and creative services for the home entertainment division, both physical and digital. She launched the BeFit YouTube channel, capitalizing on the company's strength in the fitness genre, and led marketing campaigns for such top franchises as "The Hunger Games" and "Twilight."

Before joining Lionsgate, Parducci spent 14 years at Mattel Inc., where she served as SVP of worldwide marketing, girls division. She is credited with helping to launch the direct-to-video "Barbie" franchise, now distributed by Universal Pictures.
