Fox Idles 22 Staffers

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has downsized elements of its operations, resulting in the layoffs of 22 people, or 4% of the studio’s total staff.
The cuts included 12 employees primarily in the studio’s analytics department and 10 information technology employees who supported them, according to a source familiar with the situation.
The analytics group generates about 3 million records a day on the studio’s home entertainment operations.
“We did a realignment of that to make it more efficient for our future needs,” the source said, adding that the cuts do not mirror those slated by other home entertainment studios.
