Former Best Buy Entertainment Exec Gary Arnold Dies

Gary Arnold, one-time SVP of Best Buy’s U.S. entertainment business, including movies music and gaming, died of cancer March 27, according to a report in TWICE magazine.
Arnold led the mass merchant’s entertainment business during the heyday of DVD, spearheading numerous exclusives for the chain.
Arnold joined Best Buy in 1994 after stints at Trans World Entertainment and Hollywood Records, according to the report. He left the company in 2011.
He is survived by his wife Carol and five children.
