David Haddad Upped at Warner Bros.

David Haddad


David Haddad has been named EVP and GM of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE), in charge of day-to-day operations and maximizing opportunities in video games and related development.

Haddad, who had been EVP of publishing operations for WBIE, reports to Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment and president and chief content officer of WBIE, and Ron Sanders, president of Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution.

“As we continue to distribute high-quality games across all platforms, we believe having David’s leadership will be beneficial as we look to further leverage our market-leading global infrastructure to expand our games business worldwide,” Sanders said in a statement. “David’s background and management style will aid us in building upon our successes and broaden our growth in digital and mobile arenas.”

With more than 25 years of online, entertainment and games experience, Haddad previously served as COO of Activision/Blizzard’s “Guitar Hero” business and has held leadership roles at Sierra Online, Mattel and The Walt Disney Company.
