‘Titanic’ Tie-In Goes to Times Square

Paramount Home Media Distribution has launched a unique fan tie-in for the Sept. 10 release of Titanic on 2D and 3D Blu-ray Disc.
Visitors to can create personalized photos that can be inserted into one of three famous shots of the bow of the ship, which will be displayed Sept. 8 to 10 on the electronic billboard in Times Square in New York City. The photos will appear with the person’s name and home town, and a camera opposite the billboard will snap still images of each photo, which will be posted on the user’s Facebook page as a keepsake.
Both four-disc sets include a digital copy of the film and two-plus hours of new bonus footage, including two new documentaries, 30 deleted scenes, 60 featurettes, three commentaries and more than 2,000 photos.
