Oliveira Named VP, Manager of Brazil for Paramount

Paramount Home Media Distribution has named Davi Oliveira its VP and managing director of Brazil, reporting to Dave Davis, SVP of Asia Pacific and Latin America physical and digital transactional sales.

“I am delighted that Davi is joining Paramount and feel confident that his extensive management experience and strategic vision will be a tremendous asset to our organization,” said Wendy Ferren, EVP and GM of international home media distribution with PHMD. “We look forward to his contributions as we continue to strengthen and expand our global operations.”

Oliveira brings 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, category management and advertising to Paramount, most recently serving as retail sales director for Samsung do Brasil. He has also held positions with Sony Ericsson Brasil, Indirect Channel for Nivea Brasil and Nestlé Brazil.

A resident of São Paulo, Brazil, Oliveira earned his MBA from the BSP Business School of São Paulo, a postgraduate degree in business administration from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in Brazil, and a bachelor’s in marketing from Universidade Paulista, also in Brazil.
