Sherry Lansing to Speak at Canon Club Event

Hollywood pioneer Sherry Lansing will be the featured speaker at a March 10 Canon Club event presented by DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group at The Peninsula Beverly Hills.
The event, which is hosted by Deloitte, will take place in the Verandah Room at 4 p.m. Stephen Galloway of The Hollywood Reporter will moderate the discussion.
Lansing, a former actress, became the first woman to head a Hollywood studio as chief executive at 20th Century Fox and later as CEO at Paramount Pictures. She currently runs her foundation dedicated to funding and raising awareness for cancer research, health, public education and encore career opportunities.
The DEG created the forum Canon Club: Where Women in Home Entertainment Meet for women in home entertainment to come together to learn, share and engage.
