Paramount Lassos ‘Indiana Jones’ DVD Deal with Papa John’s

Pizza vendor Papa John’s, which has previously partnered with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Blockbuster Inc. and other DVD companies, is doing it again with Paramount Home Entertainment.

This time around, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be featured along with a Papa John’s extra-large “explorer pizza,” which comes with a $3 coupon toward the purchase of the DVD. The DVD will be released Oct. 14.

“We enjoy bringing our customers pizza and entertainment pairings,” said Jim Ensign, VP of marketing communications for Papa John’s International. “With this latest release, Papa John’s lovers can explore their favorite, latest adventure pizza by mixing and matching three toppings on the XL Explorer while they watch Indiana Jones.”

The Kentucky-based pizza company is also featuring clips from the movie on its Web site, and offering “Indiana Jones” themed gift cards.
