Microsoft Offers $100 Xbox One Discount for PS3 Owners

From now until March 2, Microsoft is offering PlayStation 3 owners $100 off an Xbox One console, if they bring in their PS3 and hand it over.

The discount would bring the cost of an Xbox One to $399, the same price as Sony’s PlayStation 4. The offer is also good for owners of Xbox 360 consoles, but is only available at Microsoft retail stores in the U.S.

Trade-in consoles must be in good working order, have no broken or missing components and must include original chargers and accessories.

“To receive maximum trade-in value, you must purchase an Xbox One at the same time,” Microsoft said. “Any appraised value will be determined at trade-in and provided as store credit, subject to Microsoft’s discretion and approval.”
