DTV PSA Produced by Best Buy for DTV Awareness Month

Best Buy, along with the Minnesota Broadcasters Association and Apex Digital Inc., has created a half-hour television program designed to inform consumers about the transition from analog to digital, called DTV Simplified. It will be available to broadcasters nationwide free of charge from August 2008 to March 2009.

The program will cover topics of interest and concern such as an overview of the transition, real world DTV stories of families who are preparing their home for the transition, the history of TV and an “Ask the Government” segment.

DTV Simplified will be made available nationwide Aug. 11 to Aug. 13 through satellite feeds.
