Christie Hefner to Speak at Canon Club Event June 9

Veteran corporate executive Christie Hefner will be the featured speaker at a June 9 Canon Club event, presented by DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group at The Peninsula Beverly Hills.

The event, which is hosted by Deloitte, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and BBC, will take place in the Verandah Room at 4 p.m.

Linda Deutsch, former Associated Press reporter, will moderate.

Hefner served as chairman and CEO of Playboy Enterprises for 20 years, making her the longest-serving female chairman and CEO of a U.S. public company. In addition to being named one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women, Hefner has executive level experience in both private and public companies.

The DEG created the forum Canon Club: Where Women in Home Entertainment Meet for women in home entertainment to come together to learn, share and engage.
