Camsing Acquires Stan Lee’s POW! Entertainment

Chinese marketing firm Camsing International Holding has acquired POW! Entertainment, the media and entertainment company founded by comic book icon Stan Lee. Under the deal, Camsing will receive the POW! library of intellectual properties for film, television, games, virtual reality, animation, live events, tours, comics and publishing. The deal gives Camsing’s North American partners a chance to advance IPs in Asia.

Stan Lee will continue as chief creative officer of POW! Entertainment, with Camsing U.S. VP Shane Duffy serving as CEO and Gill Champion transitioning to president.

Entertainment,” Lee said. “The Camsing merger will provide additional resources for development of these projects and access to new markets.
