Mitch Lowe Lands at Quarterly Co.
19 Jun, 2013 By: Chris TribbeyFormer Netflix and Redbox executive Mitch Lowe has been hired as the CEO of Quarterly Co., an online subscription gifting service.
“At heart I have always been an entrepreneur, and after many years of navigating the corporate world, I am thrilled to have finally found my way back to the start-up scene,” Lowe said in a statement. “In this digital age we live in, where we can buy, stream or download practically anything online, Quarterly Co. stands out for its connection back to the physical world.
“This is a company made up of people and stories and things, not just bits and bytes, and I look forward to bringing Quarterly’s services to a wider audience."
Quarterly Co. offers subscribers personally curated gifts every three months from a selection of contributing celebrities, including authors, musicians and artists.
Lowe previously served as a founding executive with Netflix and as COO and president of Redbox.
