Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment Nov. 2 will release an Ultimate Toy Box 3-Movie Collection with all three "Toy Story" films on Blu-ray, DVD and digital copy together for $100, the same day it releases Toy Story 3 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
Toy Story 3 will be available as a four-Disc Blu-ray/DVD combo pack ($45.99), a two-Disc Blu-ray ($39.99) and a single-disc DVD ($29.99). All three iterations include a digital copy.
Toy Story 3 is the highest-grossing film of 2010 thus far, having taken in nearly $410 million domestically and more than $1 billion worldwide.
The third installment of the animated film series returns favorites Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz (voiced by Tim Allen), Jessie (voiced by Joan Cusack), Hamm and Mr. Potato Head, as well as adds new characters to the roster. In addition to music by seminal composer Randy Numan, the film features an original screenplay by Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine).
The Toy Story 3 DVD includes the short “Day & Night,” behind-the-scenes views of life at Pixar, a sneak peek at the Toy Story playland at Hong Kong Disneyland, a closer look at the toys in the film, and featurettes with the Pixar editors and voice cast. Additional special features on the Blu-ray Disc include the Toy Story Trivia Dash game, a filmmaker commentary with director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson, an alternate commentary with the Pixar crew, a featurette on the story with Arndt, a roundtable featurette with Unkrich and the film’s story artists, analyses of scenes and a making-of featurette on “Day & Night.”
