‘G.I. Joe’ Set For Nov. 3

Paramount Home Entertainment has slated Nov. 3 for single- and two-disc DVD and two-disc Blu-ray Disc releases of G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

Pulling in more than $280 million at the worldwide box office, the toy-based action adventure features more than 1,650 visual effect shots, and stars Channing Tatum (Public Enemies), Dennis Quaid (Vantage Point), Marlon Wayans (Dance Flick) and Sienna Miller (Factory Girl).

The two-disc DVD ($24.99) and Blu-ray ($29.99) offerings will include a digital copy, a commentary with director Stephen Sommers and producer Bob Ducsay, two lengthy featurettes, and a new feature that allows users to play an online 3D holographic video game while using a Web cam, playing characters Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow
 
The single-disc DVD ($19.99) includes the commentary.
