ComScore: 1 in 10 Mobile Users Have iPhone

One in 10 American mobile subscribers now are using the iPhone, according to new data from tracking firm comScore.
Google Android-powered phones account for 46.3% of the smartphone market, with Apple second at 28.1%. Samsung is the top overall handset manufacturer at 25.5%. LG was second with 20.6% market share.
As of the end of October, 90 million Americans owned smartphones, up 10% from the previous three months. During October nearly 72% of mobile subscribers used text messaging, while browsers were used by 44%.
