MacGillivray Freeman Films is responsible for some of the most memorable documentaries over the past 50 years, particularly when it comes to the Imax format. The company was among the most prolific in producing early content for the large-format screen as it developed, maintaining a consistent output of quality as Imax became a common fixture at museums across the United States.

The 50th anniversary celebratory boxed set showcases 10 Blu-rays of films spanning 1995 to 2010, letting viewers soar through the clouds with the Blue Angels, or taking them on a fantastic yet dangerous rafting expedition down the Nile River.

The lineup includes the 3D movie Arabia (narrated by Helen Mirren), Coral Reef Adventure (narrated by Liam Neeson, with music by Crosby, Stills & Nash), Dolphins (narrated by Pierce Brosnan, with music by Sting), Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk (narrated by Robert Redford, with music by Dave Matthews Band), Greece: Secrets of the Past (narrated by Nia Vardalos), Hurricane on the Bayou (narrated by Meryl Streep), Journey Into Amazing Caves (narrated by Neeson), The Living Sea (narrated by Streep, music by Sting), The Magic of Flight (narrated by Tom Selleck) and Mystery of the Nile.
