‘True Blood’ Cast to Participate in Social Media Event
5 Jun, 2013 By: Chris TribbeyThirteen cast members of HBO’s “True Blood” will participate in a live broadcast via social media, allowing fans to interact with the actors and ask questions.
The two-part event starts June 16 at 9 a.m. ET when HBO offers up #secretsfromtheset via “True Blood” profiles on Facebook (Facebook.com/Trueblood), Twitter (Twitter.com/TruebloodHBO), Instagram (Instagram.com/TruebloodHBO) and Vine.
Before the premiere of season six June 16, HBO will air an interactive pre-show, #TrueBlood: Live from Set, beginning at 8:45 p.m. ET/PT, hosted by “Parks and Recreation” actress Retta.
Cast members scheduled to appear in the #TrueBlood: Live from Set event include Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgård, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Sam Trammell, Nelsan Ellis, Deborah Ann Woll, Carrie Preston, Todd Lowe, Chris Bauer, Kristin Bauer van Straten and Joe Manganiello.
Fans can submit questions at truebloodlive.com, with actor Michael McMillian hosting a special segment.
