'Young Frankenstein' Wins PRism Award
14 Nov, 2015 By: John LatchemPublic relations firm Hill+Knowlton Strategies and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment won a PRism Award for their work promoting the 40th Anniversary Blu-ray of Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein.
The Award was given by the Public Relations Society of America at a Nov. 4 ceremony.
The winning entry, "Celebrating Young Frankenstein’s 40th Anniversary with Mel Brooks’ 6th Finger!," was honored in the category of Best Entertainment Program – Personality, Series, Music, Film or DVD.
The campaign involved Brooks commemorating the film’s anniversary by imprinting his hands in cement in front of Hollywood’s Chinese Theater while wearing a fake finger.
Young Frankenstein: 40th Anniversary Edition previously won the Home Media Magazine Award for Best Catalog Release.
