‘James Bond’ Films Coming to Blu-ray in Deluxe Boxed Set

MGM and 20^th Century Fox Home Entertainment are preparing a collectible Blu-ray boxed set featuring all 22 James Bond movies in the EON Productions film series. The announcement came during a director’s panel Jan. 10 at the International CES in Las Vegas.

The set will be called Bond 50 to commemorate the 50^th anniversary of the first Bond film, 1962’s Dr. No. Fans can pre-order the set through participating online retailers.

The Blu-rays will include more than 130 hours of bonus material, including new and exclusive content.

The 23^rd film in the series, Skyfall, will be released this fall.

MGM and Fox had previously released about half of the films on Blu-ray as individual films and three-movie sets, so this new collection will represent the first time all the films will be available on disc in HD.
