Fox Adds to Cinema Archive Collection

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has added a dozen more titles to its Fox Cinema Archives collection, including several films featuring Olympic figure skater Sonja Henie.

Launched in 2012, the manufacture-on-demand DVD series features more than 200 films from Fox’s deep catalog.

Henie’s 1937 film Thin Ice and 1943’s Wintertime are available now, with Iceland (1942) available Dec. 3. Henie’s My Lucky Star (1938) will be out Dec. 10, with One in a Million (1937) and Happy Landing (1938) following Dec. 17.

Dec. 3 will also see You Can’t Have Everything (1937) and Young America (1932); Dec. 10 has Love That Brute (1950), Thunder in the Valley (1947) and George White’s Scandals (1935); and Dec. 17 will see the availability of Beneath the 12 Mile Reef (1953).
