Animated ‘Cheech & Chong’ to Light Up the Big Screen

Dynamic stoner duo Cheech and Chong return to the big screen, this time in animated form, for Cheech & Chong’s Animated Movie, due out in select theaters April 18.

The Branden Chambers and Eric D. Chambers-directed feature-length adventure features the voices of stars Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, as they run amok with Buster the bud-loving body crab.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release the film on Blu-ray Disc and DVD April 23.

Currently available at digital retailers is the film’s soundtrack. The comedy team sends out a music video for “Cheech and Chong Anthem (WEed Are the World)” April 15, with animated cameos including Zach Galifianakis, Kid Cudi, Whoopi Goldberg, Wiz Khalifa, George Lopez, Bill Maher, B-Real, Willie Nelson and others.
