Reed Hastings to Deliver Opening Keynote at CES

Netflix co-founder and CEO Reed Hastings will deliver the opening keynote Jan. 6 at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
A longtime visitor to CES, Hastings and Netflix have helped change the way people consume entertainment content in the home and on portable devices. Hastings will address how Netflix — with more than 60 million subscribers worldwide — is preparing to have global footprint by the end of 2016.
“Reed is a talented leader, entrepreneur and a key influencer for innovation in technology. We look forward to hearing from an executive who is leading a company that has redefined viewer expectations and has quite frankly changed the way that we all consume content,” Gary Shapiro, CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association, said in a statement.
