Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will showcase upcoming Blu-ray Disc boxed set Bond 50: Celebrating Five Decades of Bond — 007, at the International Comic-Con confab July 12-15 in San Diego.
The boxed set will be on display, together reportedly each day with a different Bond car, at booth #3528. Using RFID technology, fans can have their photo taken with one of the cars and have it instantly uploaded to their social media profile, according to IGN.com.
Bond 50, which streets at retail Sept. 25, includes a compilation of all 22 James Bond films neatly packaged into one collectable Blu-ray Disc boxed set. The collection features nine of the films that previously were unavailable in high-definition.
Arriving soon before the November theatrical release of newest “Bond” installment Skyfall, the set includes more than 122 hours of special features. These bonuses include a glimpse into Skyfall via video blogs from the cast and crew; two all-new featurettes capturing the history of 007 — “The World of Bond,” about the agent’s signature style, and “Being Bond,” which profiles the six actors who have portrayed the agent; cast and crew commentaries; making-of featurettes for each film; music videos; deleted scenes; photo galleries; animated storyboard sequences; trailers; and more.
