A&E Network Apps Hit Roku

23 Jan, 2014 By: Chris Tribbey

Roku’s latest streaming media players — including the Roku 3, Roku 2, Roku LT, Roku HD and the Roku Streaming Stick — now have access to A&E Networks’ lineup of TV Everywhere apps, including A&E, History and Lifetime networks.

The apps offer full episodes, movies, exclusive clips and more. Users must sign in using their pay-TV log-in information.

“The deal with Roku is another important step for us to ensure the continued expansion of our content across multiple platforms that our audiences want to see our content on,” said Dan Suratt, EVP of digital media and business development for A&E Networks.

A&E has also recently offered its TV Everywhere apps for the iOS, Android, Kindle Fire and Xbox 360 platforms, pulling in more than 8 million app downloads to date.
