Blockbuster Promotes Unlimited Rentals as Gifts

Blockbuster unveiled a new promotion Dec. 9, offering unlimited in-store rentals of all 99-cent kids and family movies and games, available as one-month, six-month and one-year gift cards.

The “Blockbuster Kids Pass” costs $4.99 a month and allows for one rental at a time, with no due dates.

Blockbuster is also promoting one-, three- and six-month “Blockbuster Combo Passes” as gifts, allowing for unlimited in-store movie and game rentals, with one rental at a time, including one rental per month by mail. The $14.99 a month pass is half off for the first month.

The “Blockbuster Total Access” pass is also being advertised as a three-month gift card for $9.99 a month, allowing for unlimited rentals by mail with Blu-rays, games and in-store exchanges.
