Indie distributor Shout! Factory’s premium horror DVD and Blu-ray label, Scream Factory, is now taking entries for its Mini-Movie Massacre horror short film and video contest.
Submissions are due by Nov. 17, with entry details at shoutfactory.com/MiniMovieMassacre. The contest is hosted at Scream Factory’s official YouTube channel (youtube.com/ScreamFactoryTV).
The 2013 Mini-Movie Massacre was created to shine the spotlight on top independent horror short films and videos, emerging masters of horror, storytellers and budding scream queens. Entries deemed as the most distinctive will be selected for competition. This year’s awards categories include Audience Award and Judges Pick Award selected by a panel of judges from Scream Factory.
Selected competition films will be broadcasted on Scream Factory TV and viewed by horror enthusiasts, fans and industry peers from around the world during the entire run of the showcase, which runs Nov. 20 to Dec. 1. Viewers and fans will be able to cast their votes after each screening.
The Awards will be announced Dec. 2 via Scream Factory’s official website and social media channels.
