New Venevision Mobile Game App Hits 100,000 Downloads

Venevision Mobile’s latest mobile game application, Chupacabra, hit the 100,000 mark of downloads during its prelaunch promotional weekend.
The mobile game app is available for download for Apple’s iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The game centers on the popular mythical creature Chupacabra that terrorizes villages, and players can obtain super powers that enable them to change game play. The game also features 3D animations, and users can share their scores through Apple’s Game Center.
Venevision has been a pioneer in creating mobile game apps targeting the U.S. Hispanic market. The next game in development is King Bandido, which is set in the Spanish colonial era and is about an apprentice swordsman.
Other mobile game apps in Venevision’s catalog include Jose Comes to USA, Mister Miguel’s, Futbolero and Novelera, all of which will be available soon for Android.
