A Brief 'Trek' to Theaters

To herald the debut of Star Trek: The Next Generation — Season One on Blu-ray July 24, the marketing team at CBS Home Entertainment teamed with the folks at Fathom Events to bring two episodes of the remastered series into theaters July 23.
Best Buy touted the theatrical interlude along with the Blu-ray, which it offered for $59.99.
Otherwise, the chain spent most of its weekly ad circular pushing its recurring Upgrade & Save program, which lets customers trade a used DVD for a $5 coupon that can be applied toward any Blu-ray priced at $9.99 or more.
