Universal

Craig Kornblau, president, Universal Studios Home Entertainment

Kornblau oversees every aspect of the studio’s North American home entertainment business, including every current and new digital endeavor in which the studio is involved. He’s been an avid proponent of new technologies, leading the studio in the early adoption of cutting-edge digital platforms, including the launch of the division’s digital sellthrough and rental businesses, as well as UltraViolet. He worked closely with the industry’s largest retailers (including Walmart and Best Buy) to augment their Web commerce offerings. Kornblau’s division works closely with other teams at NBC Universal — as well as key industry organizations — to innovate, maximize and drive revenue opportunities across all distribution platforms. Kornblau also serves as VP of the DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group’s executive committee.

Jessica Schell, EVP, new media and digital entertainment, Universal Pictures

For worldwide digital distribution of content, Universal looks to Schell. After joining the studio in 2010 as EVP of business development and strategic planning, she was elevated to her current position a year later. Schell represents the studio on the UltraViolet Implementation Steering Committee and also serves on the Women@NBCU advisory committee. Previously, Schell was SVP of digital media strategy and business development for NBC Universal.
