“Six Million Dollar Man” On DVD From Time Life

The classic TV series “The Six Million Dollar Man” will arrive on DVD for the first time as a complete-series set this fall from Time Life.

The 40-disc collection will include all 100 episodes of the 1974-78 series, plus more than 15 hours of bonus material, including the three pilot TV movies from 1973, three reunion movies and several crossover episodes of the show’s spinoff, “The Bionic Woman.”

The set will be available beginning in November exclusively through a specially branded Time Life website.

The show starred Lee Majors as astronaut Steve Austin, who is saved after a near fatal accident through bionic implants that give him special abilities. Majors and co-star Richard Anderson are among the cast and crew featured in new interviews included with the set.

“The Six Million Dollar Man” is licensed from Universal Studios, which recently announced it was releasing the first season of “The Bionic Woman,” for DVD as well.
