Crackle Video Network

Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Crackle video network is now available on PlayStation 3, Sony Blu-ray Disc players and connected HDTVs, offering free, full-length features and TV series supported by ads.

“Crackle is the best single source of ad-supported Hollywood films and television series on the Internet,” said Eric Berger, SVP of digital networks for Sony Pictures Television. “By making our extensive collection of content available on these platforms, we’re bringing an unparalleled viewing experience directly to consumers through their Internet-enabled devices.”

On connected HDTVs viewers spend an average of 50 minutes per visit using Crackle, Sony said. The service can be accessed in the Channel Store for the Roku box, on the PlayStation 3 Internet browser home screen, and on all Bravia Internet-enabled devices. Crackle also is available on Google TV devices.

Current and upcoming selections include The Da Vinci Code, Ghostbusters, Big Daddy, Eight Millimeter, Ultraviolet and A Few Good Men, with roughly 20 new titles added every month.
