Projections: 'Wreck-It Ralph' Ready to Wreck It
11 Mar, 2013 By: John LatchemThe week ending March 10 should be a huge week dominated by two strong titles. The big new release is Disney’s animated hit Wreck-It Ralph, a video game-themed adventure that grossed $187.4 million in domestic theaters.
Its primary competition will come from Summit’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2, in its first full week on shelves after a weekend release yielded just less than 4 million unit sales, according to distributor Lionsgate. That momentum should carry Breaking Dawn — Part 2 to the top of the rental charts.
