Projections: 'Ride Along 2' Hopes to Drive to Top
2 May, 2016 By: John Latchem
Universal's Ride Along 2 has the best chance of topping the sales charts the week ending May 1.
The comedy sequel earned $90.9 million at the domestic box office, though that's down from the $134.9 million of the first film.
Universal's Krampus will also look to make a strong debut, competing against strong holdovers such as Fox's The Revenant and Disney's Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Warner's Point Break remake is coming off its 28-day rental kiosk holdback and should take over the top spot on the rental chart.
