Projections: 'Pi,' 'Guardians' Positioned for Success
18 Mar, 2013 By: John LatchemFox's Oscar winner Life of Pi and DreamWorks' animated Rise of the Guardians are the big new releases that should top the sales charts for the week ending March 17.
Pi seems to have the most buzz, after winning four Oscars and scoring $119.9 million at the domestic box office. Guardians is no slouch either, though its $102.8 million haul in U.S. theaters was considered underwhelming.
On the rental chart, the James Bond thriller Skyfall should move into one of the top spots after coming off its 28-day holdback at Redbox.
