DreamWorks Disney Inks DreamWorks Studios Distribution Deal

The Walt Disney Co. Feb. 9 confirmed speculation that it had entered into a long-term agreement with DreamWorks Studios to distribute all of the studio’s live-action movies beginning in 2010.

Circuit City Court Orders Circuit City to Pay $1M to DVD Distributor

A bankruptcy court Feb. 3 ordered shuttered Circuit City Stores to pay Alliance Entertainment a lien payment of more $1 million for the warehousing and shipment of third-party DVD movies and related content to stores during the ongoing liquidation sale, according to a filing.

Twilight Borders Gets Exclusive ‘Twilight’ Special-Edition DVD

Borders Group Inc. Feb. 9 said it has collaborated with Summit Home Entertainment to create an exclusive special two-disc limited-edition DVD boxed set of Twilight that will be available March 21, the same day as the Blu-ray, standard-DVD and electronic releases.
