Apple May 2 reported it sold 50.7 million iPhones in the second quarter, ended April 1, generating $33.2 billion in revenue. That represented a surprising 1% decline from 51.1 million units sold during the previous-year period. Revenue increased 1.2%, from $32.8 billion a year ago.
Comcast May 2 announced enhancements to its cloud-based X1 set-top, including a so-called “smart” keyboard, simplified transactional VOD folder, personalized screensaver, power saver and DVR.
