'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Makes TV, Streaming Debut Sept. 10

Starz LLC Sept. 10 will debut on television and download Disney’s theatrical/home entertainment hit 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' The movie was the top-grossing theatrical release in 2015 despite debuting on Dec. 18.
The movie will be available at 9 p.m. ET/PT and 11:25 p.m. ET/PT on all Starz pay-TV channels. It will also be available for download via the $8.99 monthly Starz app, which is offering deleted scenes and bonus features: “Secrets of The Force Awakens,” “The Story Awakens: The Table Read” and how the creatures and BB-8 were crafted and built.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will also air on Starz channels numerous times throughout the day Sept. 11.
The movie is the No. 1 home entertainment release in 2016, generating more than $152 million in combined DVD/Blu-ray Disc sales since its April 5 retail release, according to The-Numbers.com. The movie launched digitally April 1.
