Digital Playground to Release First Adult Title on 3D Blu-ray

Digital Playground will release the first-ever adult title on 3D Blu-ray Disc.
The Van Nuys, Calif.-based studio behind the adult “Pirates” DVD/Blu-ray/VOD franchise, is releasing comedy Jailhouse Heat 3D Nov. 22 at $24.99.
The adult industry, which is synonymous with pushing the technological envelope distributing its content via VHS, DVD and streaming, has finally embraced 3D Blu-ray -- high-definition packaged media's final frontier.
The 3D Blu-ray requires a 3D Blu-ray Disc player (or compatible Sony PS3) and compatible 3DTV for viewing. The movie includes 14 bonus trailers, a behind-the-scenes featurette, “Behind the Music,” and other content.
